Spiced Moroccan Lentil Soup

Here's where you will find some fantastic healthy recipes that you can cook to compliment your Isagenix journey. This programme is all about nurturing your body and celebrating nourishing our bodies. What better way to do that and show your families how important cooking from scratch is... Because we love clean eating you will find great healthy lunches, snacks, lunch, dinners or anytime. Once people have cleansed we have found generally they never want to go back to feeling the way you used to. Isagenix makes the good habits stick, long after finishing the programme. We can also still enjoy naughty foods without the 'fall out'. As long as we throw in a cleanse every few weeks and a continue taking a shake once in a while. Once the body feels clean cutting back on toxic foods is much easier. We really love cooking from scratch and find the Thermomix the perfect tool for the job. Many of our team own a Thermomix so the recipes are be suitable for owners and everyone else.

Please enjoy this lovely Soup.. Spiced Moroccan Lentil Soup 1 brown onion, chopped 40ml olive oil 1 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp paprika or chilli 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground turmeric 1/ tsp chilli powder 1/ tsp ground nutmeg 750g filtered water 2 tbsp vegetable stock 100g red lentils 800g canned crushed tomatoes 1 pinch salt, to taste coriander coconut cream or greek yoghurt Add the chopped onions to a large sauce pan with the olive oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onions look opaque. Add all the spices and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the water, vegetable stock, red lentils and canned tomatoes and cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until the lentils are tender. Serve with a dollop of coconut cream or Greek yogurt and some coriander sprigs.
